Achieve Success through Time Management

   
 Who does not want to be successful in life? Everyone! Every individual has a desire to be successful. How to achieve success? The question is heavy but the answer is very light. Yes! There’s a Mantra to everything in life. In the same way, we have various Mantras to succeed in life, out of which TIME MANAGEMENT is the best mantra. 
    Time management means completing a task properly within a given frame of time. It won't be wrong to say that Time Management means "Completing a task based on its importance and priority". Therefore, Time Management is ‘to implement and execute your tasks in a planned manner within a given timeframe’.
    In this fastidious and globalised world, the knowledge of time management becomes essential for the people working in any institute or organization. The institutes or organizations set a certain deadline for its employee to accomplish the task. In such a scenario it gets mandatory to complete the assigned work within a fixed period. Therefore, every individual working in such an environment should be well acquainted with time management.
    The world-renowned litterateur cum Prime Minister Winston Churchill has quoted: "Let our advance worrying become advance thinking and planning". But out of carefree attitude, people keep postponing important tasks; they think what matters if you do it today, tomorrow or the day after? What’s going to happen to you that you complete it so soon, you still have years to live and finish it! As a result of which the work never gets completed or even if it gets complete, it does not give the desired result.
    Nowadays, the effect of not managing time can be seen in today’s youth. As a result of not working according to the timetable, they waste more time than required. The youth does not get the results according to their hard work which creates frustration in them. They become escapist and pessimist. 
    The question arises “How to effectively manage time?” So, Time Management can be effectively achieved through a few common yet significant steps given below:
  1. Always keep a diary with you, write the time to complete the work and adhere to the set time.
  2. Before doing any task, make a list of them. Keep the order of tasks according to their importance and priority so that important work will be done on time.
  3. Before doing any work, divide it according to its priority by bifurcating it as per the Triple S Formula.
  • Urgent and Important Work: - Include very important tasks.
  • Important but not urgent: - This should include the work which is necessary but not important.
  •  Neither Urgent nor Important: - This should include tasks which are neither necessary nor important.
  1. Be candid: Do not take responsibility for another's work without completing your own. By doing this, your task will be completed on time and you will be saved from non-interested tasks.
  2. Allocate the work according to the qualification of the employee and take care not to put an excessive burden on anyone.
  3. Divide the big task into small parts so that the work becomes quick and easy.
  4. Do not get entangled in the solution of any problem, but seek advice from other colleagues, which will avoid wastage of time.
  5. Keep positive thinking so that it will be easy to overcome the difficulties that arise in the work.

    All aspiring individuals need to develop time management for achieving success. Thus by taking care of small things, any individual, institute or organization can achieve a higher peak of success in accomplishing tasks by better time management.
